It is a neonicotinoid class of insecticide, which interferes with the normal functioning of the insect's nervous system, resulting in paralysis and eventually death of the insect. Its toxicity is internal, tactile and gastrointestinal. It has translaminar properties so it easily reaches from one side of the leaf to the other and suppresses the insects. It is also absorbed by leaves and roots through its xylem action and spread throughout the plant.

Apply Delvin 20SG at the approved rate as soon as symptoms or appearance of insect attack are observed in the crop.

If on skin or in contact with skin, remove clothing and wash thoroughly with soap and clean water. In case of contact with eyes, flush eyes with clean water for 15 minutes. If inhaled or swallowed, quickly transfer to fresh air and induce vomiting. Give small sips of clean water. Do not attempt to induce vomiting in an unconscious patient. Seek medical advice immediately.
